What covid protocols are in place for the Christmas services?

At CFC we will be following all recommended government protocols. This includes extra spacing between rows and spacing between groups. We will ask all those entering the building to sanitise their hands as well as wear masks when entering, exiting, moving around the building, and during any singing (unless exempt, however we ask those who are unable to wear a mask to refrain from singing). If you, or a member of your household are feeling in any way unwell, you should not attend. Also, if you have been in recent contact with someone who has been diagnosed with Covid 19 please do not come to the service unless you have either tested negative or completed the recommended period for self-isolation. Your contact details will be held for track and trace purposes for 21 days. We have cleaning procedures in place for the building, before, between and after services.

What can I expect at the CFC Christmas services?

Our Christmas Services are on Sunday 19th December at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm. Each service will be exactly the same and last for one hour. During the hour you will be able to join in singing some Christmas carols, listen to some readings from the Bible, watch some beautiful musical pieces and enjoy some festive surprises. No matter if you have been going to church for 50 years or you have never set foot in a church before you will be made to feel most welcome. Children will be in the service with their parents/guardians and those 2 years and under do not need to book a ticket. At 8pm we will provide an online service on CFC Belfast Facebook and YouTube for those unable to attend in-person.

I don't know the email addresses of the people I'm bringing, what do I do?

Our booking system requires a name and email address to be entered for each ticket being booked. If you do not know the email address or alternatively the name of the person who will be using the ticket, you can use your own name and email address multiple times when booking.

What do I do if I no longer need my ticket?

If you no longer need a ticket please click on the cancel option in your booking confirmation email which allows you to cancel your ticket. We would appreciate you do this so that seats can be made available for those who can attend. If you have any issues cancelling your ticket please email info@thisiscfc.com.

Do I need to bring a print out of my ticket with me on the day?

If you wish you can bring a print out of your confirmation email or have it ready to view on your phone/device however it is not necessary as you can also give your name at the door or the name of the person the tickets were booked under.

Are seats allocated?

Seats will not be allocated and therefore it is not guaranteed that a group will be able to sit together. Doors will open 20 minutes prior to the service start time so please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to get seats together.

What time can we get into the building from?

You will be able to enter the building from 20 minutes prior to the service starting. Everyone entering the building must do so via the Belmont Road entrance only. At the end of the service you will be asked to exit via the Holywood Road entrance only (unless you need to use the lift).

Will there be space for wheelchair users and is your building wheelchair accessible?

Yes space can be provided for wheelchair users, please make sure to include this in the notes while booking your ticket or contact the office on info@thisiscfc.com to let them know which service you will be attending and how many people are in your group. Our building is wheelchair accessible, please make sure to use the Belmont Road entrance which has a lift available for you to use.

Is there any provision for people who are deaf or hard of hearing?

Yes! CFC has a thriving Sign Language Community and BSL interpreters will be provided at the 6pm service so please ensure you choose this service and the appropriate ticket when booking. BSL interpretation will also be available on our online service at 8pm.

Do children need tickets?

Children 2 years old and younger do not need a ticket as we ask you to ensure they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap.

Can I turn up on the day without booking a ticket?

No, you must have booked a ticket in order to be admitted into the building.

Can my party arrive separately?

Yes, you do not need to wait for other party members to arrive before entering the building.

Will there be any childcare available?

No, there will be no childcare provision at our Christmas services. Children will be in the main service with their parent/guardian.

It says your services are fully booked. Is there any way I can still get tickets?

Unfortunately due to covid restrictions we have an absolute maximum number of people we can have in our services. People are being encouraged to cancel their tickets if they are no longer able to attend so we would encourage you to check back to see if tickets become available.
